I want to peek inside your fridge.

The contents of a fridge can tell a lot about someone.

So tell me. What's in yours? Go shelf by shelf if necessary. Pictures are an added bonus.

Mine:

Top shelf:

2 gallons of 2% milk (we drink a lot of milk around here). 1 gallon of orange juice. 2 cans of diet ginger ale and half empty bottle of Turkey Hill Lime Iced Tea.

Middle shelf:

1 head of lettuce, a jar of olives that are relatively untouched (yuck), a dozen eggs, a bottle of white wine (unopened) and grapes.

3rd shelf:

A bar of chocolate, jello pudding cups, egg salad for sandwiches, ranch veggie dip, tortilla shells and a box of baking powder.

Deli drawer:

Lunchmeat (ham), 3 kinds of cheese, bacon and hot dogs.

Bottom drawer:

More juice boxes (hi C), pillsburg crescent rolls for dinner tonight and Hersheys bars individually wrapped (for when we need stuff for S'mores).

The door shelves contain:

Butter, cream cheese, various sauces and salad dressings, beer, Orange/Guava/Passionfruit juice, ground coffee and doggy antibiotics.

Your turn.

*doing this from memory*

~ left over Chinese (bourbon chicken & fried rice)

~ milk, pomegranate juice, CoffeeMate liquid creamer, Redi Whip, Sweet tea, and Danon Yogurt drinks.

~ pickles, salsa, apricot preserves, various salad dressings, butter, Can't Believe it's not Butter spread, a half-gone bottle of Sammy's BBQ sauce, various condiments, and some other jars of stuff...

~ fresh thyme, celery, a bell pepper (I think it's still there), salad mix, tortillas, eggs, shredded cheese, sour cream...

I can't remember the rest.

I keep my shredded cheese in the freezer. I buy it in large bulk packs of cheddar and then when I want some for something, I just take it out of the freezer. That way it doesn't get old.

Of course, I use shredded cheese in a lot of things so it makes sense for me to buy it in bulk.

I'm mildly disappointed that there's no chocolate in your fridge.

Is the purple stuff supposed to be purple or has it just been there too long?

In the commercial, it's supposed to be a competitor's generic "juice drink".

As if Sunny D were "pure". (Actually, it is - pure cane sugar.)

Laughing cow cheese ROCKS. I love it on crackers and pretzels.

Yum. Clementines. Love those.

I have in my fridge:-

top shelf:- eggs, yoghurts, 2 cans shandy, 2 bottles sour cherry vodka, small jar of pickled mussels - I had cockles up till a couple of hours ago LOL

second shelf:- butter, two tins of spam for emergencies, two apples, carton apple juice.

Also in the fridge:- cooked chicken, fresh bacon, large bottle of water, 2 bottles of pepsi, large plastic bottle milk, pressed meats, cheeses, chocolate bar, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, some more cooked chinese chicken, a steak and kidney pie - thats just about it. :D

I also really dislike Sunny D - its supposed to be all fresh and natural but one look at the label shows just how synthetic it really is.

I'm not big on chocolate. Hot chocolate, yes. Regular chocolate, not so much. I like it, but I constantly seem to amaze people that it's not a big craving or deal for me.

Hmmm.

No whipped cream in your fridge either? :D

Super-pasturized milk. It lasts forever without going bad (ok, 5 or 6 months) so I usually keep a few containers around in case I need it for cooking/baking. I don't use milk for much else so it's better than buying a quart of whole milk every week and throwing it out.

Redi Whip in a can! I listed it.

There's actually two cans of it. One extra creamy. :D

Ah. I missed that the first time around.

Fun with Redi Whip. *sigh*

Ok, don't laugh--

Top shelf: half a bottle of Pepsi, Aunt Jemima french toast sticks, olives

Middle shelf: nothing

Bottom shelf: pickles, a cup of flour, bottle of vodka

Veggie bin: a bosc pear, shriveled pieces of various colored bell peppers, a jar of
crushed garlic

In the door: a whole bunch of half empty bottles of chocolate syrup, salad
dressings, mayo and the like

And there is nothing but a half filled ice tray in my freezer.

Did you just get back home after having been on the road for the last 6 months?? You need some food! :D

boneless ham (for upcoming Easter dinner), skim milk, 6-pack of diet dr. pepper, 6 green eggs (no, seriously), a dozen white eggs, chocolate milk and an unopened bottle of wine.

second shelf: two packages of steaks, bowl of leftover corn, cottage cheese, butter, applesauce, yogurt, sour cream and bacon.

third shelf: water, garlic, cookie packages (the kids love to fix them), pound cake that my mother made for Sunday dinner and

1 crisper: full of oranges and tangerines.

2nd crisper: full of different cheeses, blocked and shredded. Cheddar, mozzarella, feta, Parmesan, etc.

3rd crisper: tomato, sausage, butter sticks, biscuits/bread

the door has all the usual: cheese slices, ketchup, mayo, mustards, salad dressings, Worcestershire sauce, soy, salsa, pizza sauce, pickles, grated parmesan cheese and ice cream sauces for sundaes, 3 sticks of fresh pepperoni, 2 cream cheese packages and assorted jellies and jams. Oh! and honey.

as for the freezer - law
4 trays of ice, peas, corn, spinach, green peppers, 2 roasts, 4 packages of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, shrimp, 2 packages of chicken breasts, tombstone pizza (original), 3 ice creams (2 vanilla and 1 nut one), 3 packages of steaks, 1 whole chicken, 3 packages of pork chops.

And a bunch of stuff in the pantry. I do have 3 teenage boys living here after all and they eat a meal as soon as they come in from school/activities as a snack before dinner.

I wish I could say, yes. But, naw, it always looks like that. Unless my mom comes
by for the weekend.

I eat out a lot.
