This is an excellent post. America's decline began during the 1970's. Ronald Reagan masked the decline with borrowed money. The bill for all that borrowed money is in the mailbox. Everyone is afraid to open it.

The nineteenth century was Great Britain's century. The twentieth century was the century of the United States. The twenty first century will become China's century. If the United States does not try to prevent Chinese hegemony with a war the United States can continue to survive as a country of moderate importance.
