Exxon paid back all their love of runaway corporatism and the oil economy by laying them the pipe and then spilling a big gooey load all over the countryside. Y'all got a facial. A big, black oily Canadian facial.

BTW last I heard, solar energy doesn't spill. Suckaz. Now you gonna go crying to Uncle Sam for money to clean up that mess because your great capitalist hero Exxon is going to find a way to get out of paying for it just like BP did in the Gulf. So you're gonna get screwed again!!!

It sucks to be you motherfuckers.
(Let the puns and entendres flowwwwww.)

"LT you're a doodoohead"... hahahhaah but at least I don't gotta run around plastered by a gooey fucking Exxon facial hahahahah!!!

Before you jump all over a little spill, go find out for yourself.

Why do you think they manufacture them in 3rd world countries....no fucking enviro regs

Or cheap labor, you know the reason we make Nikes over seas.

Hence why I oppose offshoring.

Tbh, I have no idea.
But I will check and see what I can find....
The question just sorta popped into my head - my guess is that the so-called 'green energy' options aren't quite as green as we've been led to believe..... much like the Prius car.

Edited to add....

A quick google brings up info like this - http://news.yahoo.com/solar-industry-grapples-hazardous-wastes-184714679.html

While solar is a far less polluting energy source than coal or natural gas........
Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Still, nobody said solar is perfect. What I said was, how many spills has it ever caused?

One plant in CHINA (which supports LT's hatred of offshoring) has been proven to do that. Oil spills are just a part of life as are the emissions from petroleum products and coal. I'm still not seeing a loss here.

My point here is that 'clean' energy isn't.
Most people are completely ignorant about just how much toxic waste comes from 'clean' technology.

Which is a stupid point. What you're basically telling us that we should take showers because you're still dirty. You're better off than you were five minutes ago aren't you? I could understand if maybe someone had produced something that was flawless but until then you move towards better don't you?
