OK, I would like to hear about a trip? Where would you go and why, if you could?

I have a few, I would like to hike the Appalachian Trail, some time in the near future. I would also love to ride my motorcycle to Alaska....

Kansas City. Because my Loved one is there.

Besides that I would love to go to Denmark, I've had a Fasanation with Denmark since I was about 15 and would love to see one of the most beautiful Countries in the world. Followed by a trip around Sweden then on to Switzerland.

Take Care :)

All the usual places, of course. But I'd love to take a summer trek across Antarctica, the one place on earth without gift shops.

Indian Summer...

It's been very hot here in Nebraska too. I can't wait for Autumn! :)

I would go back to my beloved Paris

:p

Up, up, and away... to Chocolate Hole Bay, on the island of St. John. Peaceful and lovely, and more than a little romantic.

*sigh*

On a world wide note, I'd love to go to Ireland and trace some roots from my past lives. :)

I'd like to go to southern california, for reasons best left unsaid!

Lionness

Yeah I lived in Denver for a year. I spent every bit of spare time in the mountains riding my motorcycle or hiking. Also did some winter camping in Rocky Mountain National Park....cross country skiied above 10,000 feet... (talk about breathless...lol) Ask me sometime and I will tell you a few stories about my adventures there.... gotta love that snow

Can't exactly decide:
First choice would be a trek across India. Land in New Deli and take either buses or trains down to Bombay (seeing the Taj on the way). After spending a good long time laying on a beach, travel over to Calcutta for the Sisters of Charity. Then heading north to Darjeeling for the tea.
Second choice would be Japan. I's love to travel the length of the country in a slow and leisurly fashion(better have several zillion yen in my pocket).
Followed close behind by all of Europe and Australia. Guess I want it all

I'd wait until February then head to my cabin in the Acadia's/ Maine.

Or I'd go visit a friend of mine in ( this ought to get Nicole,) Wagga Wagga. In BFE New South Wales. The same time of year.

I would personally like to go to Nebraska, and over to Tigg's house, but there is a note on the door, she went to my house...
CRAP!!!
After I get it out of my system, I would like to go to California, to start my career in... what? oh right, top secret, ok well I would like to start my career anyway.
Then, I want to go back to Tiggs house, and we are going to play Pooh and friends for the next.... ooohhhh about 7 years.

i want to go to Provo, Utah, for a while, then on to Anchorage, AK, to visit me gf and me best friend, respectively...

Well babe if you make it let me know, I'll try to get there too :)

I think that a lot of people would love Australia, and I'm not talking just the Cities either, a lot of you would love our Outback, to be able to sit in the middle of nowhere and look up, to see stars from here to there. To do the whole Outback journey. Don't come in Summer though if you do actually want to do the whole Outback theme, it would kill you. The heat is unbearable at times, especially in the Outback.

Thanks for thinking of us though :)

Take Care :)

I have to do my travelling in books right now due to being unable to get enough free days away from work to get very far.

For the Appalachian Trail, get a copy of Bill Bryson's _A Walk in The Woods_.

For Antarctica, a fun read is _Mrs. Chippy's Last Expedition_ by Caroline Alexander. It is a journal record of Shackleton's Antarctic disaster written from Mrs. Chippy's (the cat that was on board) perspective. This is a really decent book, especially for cat lovers, that is also good for kids.

I have to resort to movies for Alaska. I saw The Gold Rush with Charlie Chaplin a few weeks back. Don't tell me that it has changed any, it will ruin my illusions.

Ron zG

yeah I read Bryson.... lol not your typical AT hiker but he made the most of what he had.....

You are not allowed to ride your motorcycle to Alaska unless you take me with you. :p

eve baby

hey you know about us bikers "ass, grass or cash" since I don't do the grass anymore... well if ya wanna ride......lol

Ireland, Ireland, Ireland!

I've got a minor obsession with the Emerald Isle. I would love to go and see land, the castles, trace the family back, everything! Then there'd be the Dublin pub crawl. God, I love Guinness! then, there would be the recovery time, but that's the price you pay!

Other than Ireland, I'd really like to go to Japan. Not just Tokyo, but all over the islands.

I want to go to Vegas, because I love to gamble, and I've heard that Vegas is the ultimate gambling experience.

There is only one thing preventing me from going: a paralyzing fear of flying. You've heard of the white-knuckle flyer? That's me, LOL! But I'm working on it. I'll take that trip someday.
