I am getting excited.... it has been a while since we spent quality time together (my booty-trip to Darwin doesn't count).
I can't wait to spend the whole night wrapped up by him....

*grin* My new slow-cooker is programmable, so I can set it to 'keep warm' when it is finished for up to 5 hours.
I'm making Morrocan Lamb Shanks....

I have laid in food for 3 days, got the boys farmed out to their friends, and stocked up on bourbon and wine.
And there will be a couple of breaks.... but not the kind you think!
The V8's are on, so we'll stop everything to watch the racing.

I'm not anxious.... I'm actually more than fine, as the extra hours will give me time to pre-organise the chores so I don't have to jump out of bed tomorrow at some godawful hour, as usual.

No. Oil and gas
He's the Master of a crew-change vessel. Works 12 hour shifts for 28 days straight, then gets 28 days off (paid).
But this last time, they were short-handed, so he's been away since July.

I rarely get to sleep in - in the last 3 yrs I have had maybe 5 days sleep-in..... and by sleep in I mean till about 7am.

And I just got a call to tell me the flight has been delayed again!, and now he won't arrive till 6pm tonight
