Nevertheless, in the final analysis, Comey may have cost Hillary the presidency. I am sure he knew he was putting himself on the line with releasing the information he did about Hillary. Therefore, I think he was putting what he saw as the interests of the nation above his own personal ambitions. What he did was unorthodox, but he did stand up to Loretta and the gang.

Wait, Comey "might have cost hillary the presidency"? By investigating a crime she committed? hillary did things that were illegal and some of those things were made public, but yet it's someone else's fault she lost because they did their job by investigating her. That doesn't make sense to me.

Comey, even as the HMFIC of the FBI, is still subordinate to the president. After all the shoddy work that was done in what was probably the most horribly bungled investigation in the FBI's recent history, they still found that hillary had done many things that would land mere mortals in federal prison for many years. If Comey had acted in the interest of the nation, he would have seen that letting hillary have even more access to classified data was a huge risk to the nation, and she would be in prison. But no, the current establishment wanted her to win the presidency, so I have zero doubt that Comey was told to let her walk.

This guy would beg to differ. He's looking at ten years in the pen for taking a cellphone picture of his workplace, intended only for his own personal use/memories. Well, that's what he's saying anyway. Personally I think that's not even in the same league than what hillary did.

Whether it was some Russian hack, or if it was an insider leak, somehow Wikileaks got tons of dirt on hillary. Add that to the Benghazi fuck-up, her issues threatening the women her husband raped and/or sexually assaulted, and the other shady shit that's sometimes referred to as a conspiracy theory, the intentional private email server that was surely hacked by multiple foreign states, she should have never been allowed to run, and I think the lightest punishment she should get is to be imprisoned forever.

Oddly enough, the uber-liberal HuffPo even has an article with a byline of the Senior Politics Editor saying that Comey wasn't the problem that led to hillary's loss.
