Alright.

I fess up. I'm 28 going on 29 and I still leave
out milk & cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve......
been doing that since I was a tot. :)

Heck, I'm still a kid at heart, what can I say?

Anyone still do this, or, if you have kids of your own,
do you help them put out the necessary items?

Oh yes, nearly forgot.....I always left out a carrot
(or in recent years, baby carrots) for Rudolph :)

I feel like a kid 'round this time of year.......

Well you know, we brits don't leave milk and cookies for santa! We leave a glass of brandy and a mince pie for him and a carrot for the reindeer. My little girl is still too young to really grasp whats going on at this time of year (shes only 14 months old) but i will be leaving out a glass of rum(only spirit i have here, sorry santa!) and a mincepie and a carrot.

I too love christmas and become like a little kid! I'll not be able to sleep tonight!

Well we always left out the milk and cookies. And my mom would drink the milk and eat the cookies or after we had kids, she would drink the milk and I would eat the cookies, lol. I don't like milk. My son is 10 and does not believe in Santa anymore. But I will have to leave Cookies and Choc. Milk since Mom is not around anymore to drink the milk. OR Maybe I could leave Hot Chocolate and Cookies. I bet Santa could use a hot drink as makes his rounds!!! Merry Christmas Everyone!

We bake fresh cookies and put out a glass of milk, as well as a carrot and an apple for the reindeer! One year, my mom left reindeer "poop" (raisins) out in the front yard and carefully made little reindeer footprints in the snow. Talk about excitement for a kid! Santa's reindeer pooped in our yard! hehe!

That is what I call creativity!!! :) Great idea, esp. if there is
snow on the ground!

Merry Christmas!

My Mom and Dad started this tradition whe we were kids, sugar cookies and almond windmill cookies for Santa, and either milk or tea with milk and sugar for dunking.

Today, I always leave cookies and milk for Santa, even though my kids are older now, 20 and 11. The only hard part, as a single parent, is remembering to eat some of the cookies before I go to sleep!

Merry Christmas, Jen... :rose:

My mom and dad would keep us bottled up in our bedrooms until they could finish doing Santa, I was so excited Christmas morning and could hardly wait, and the night before I had a horrible time going to sleep, one year we stayed up to try and see Santa......I remember peering out the windows looking .... My parents were a little cranky that christmas..he..he..

When the kids were little we used to put a pair of shoes into the fireplace ashes and leave a couple of footprints on the hearth for the kidos to see where Santa had been.
