Leaker of US classified docs claims government knew about white supremacist Buffalo shooter in advance but let it happen to get more funding​

“he thought that the government is overreaching in several aspects,” but there wasn’t “some heavy Snowden like conspiracy here.”

The leaker of US classified documents told the members of their invitation-only discord server that the government hides “horrible truths” from the public. One such example was a claim that federal agencies allowed the 2022 shooting at a Buffalo supermarket to happen so that they could use the event to argue for more funding.

A report from the Washington Post said that this claim was “baseless.” Charlie Kirk pointed out that “the context here is interesting given that much of what was leaked to this Discord chat turned out to be true.” An investigation at the time revealed many "missed red flags."

On Thursday, federal authorities arrested21-year-old Jack Teixera, the alleged leaker of hundreds of classified military documents. While a motive for leaking the documents remains unclear, experts said there are signs the alleged leaker was influenced by far-right extremism:

  • The documents were shared in a channel on the Discord messaging platform. Users of the channel also reportedly shared racist and xenophobic memes and jokes, along with talking a lot about guns.
  • In a report based on information from two anonymous members of the Discord channel, the Washington Post reported the channel's creator, who went by "OG," appears in a video in which he "yells a series of racial and antisemitic slurs into the camera, then fires several rounds at a target."

Typically when someone breaks the law, their credibility is destroyed by the right...unless their bias decides it's cool

Oh my, you are confusing credibility with treason, which I suppose is understandable given your MAGA orientation.

Yes, the administration and the national media were indeed concerned about arresting someone who committed treason, but that has nothing to do with the traitor's credibility.

Your view of this traitor's credibility is a good reason for officials to apply new software monitoring tools to track what is taking place on this Lit forum.

Certain Lit MAGAts work full-time on this forum, denigrating our democratic institutions and now one of them proposing that an outright act if treason by an intelligence officer on a racist gamer blog somehow confers him with "credibility".
