Leading Lady update

I have been doing some thinking about the problems i have had with the leading lady in my writers story, and i think i have a solution to my problem.

The writer in my story has a beautiful secretary who lives in the same apartment building as the writer. At the end of the day he delivers his hand written manuscript to her so that it can be typed up since he can not type very well.

Over time this relationship grows into a friendship and eventually it turns romantic.

Sounds Good to Me.

Is she typing part-time for extra money? I would find that very believable. Might explain her lack of a social life, she works to make ends meet. You could make her a struggling author too, thus her interest in talking about writing with the author. Gets them social and talking.
