The word conspiracy is inaccurate. This is not a collusion in the dark hallways of the media elites but a mindset in which they have been openly inculcated towards by first academia and then the weeding and pruning of the ranks via the career ladder. The reason they portray Trump and anyone who they deem to be of similar ilk is that, especially at the national level, they exist in, live in and compete in a bubble of people who think just like them and who think very little of people who are not just like them.
