They happen all too rarely here, but today has been a relaxing one.
For once, everything is done - all the animals are happy, next months wood is split and stacked, household chores up to date, dinner is pre-prepared for the oven....
I am sitting with a glass of wine and a book in front of the fire :)
It's like a mini-holiday!

A lazy weekend afternoon is indeed a treat. By staying up far too late on here, however, I am guaranteeing that my Sunday will be rushed.

So what's the book? And the wine?

The wine is a Four Sisters merlot, and the book is Delta by Tony Park (a bit of fluff).
I'm not really reading it - I have Montserrat Caballe on the stereo. Magical voice.

Do you get to relax, or do you rush about all day (like I usually do)?

Fluff is sometimes terribly necessary. I'm reading a Terry Pratchett Discworld book at the moment. Haven't had Four Sisters, but I have to ask: have you had anything from Mollydooker Vineyards? The owner has one of the best names ever: Sparky Marquis.

I'll have to give this magical voice a listen on Spotify tomorrow.

I rush about most days. This Sunday is typical: I'm planting some bushes and laying a new stone path in the backyard, volunteering for a charity, grocery shopping for the week, attending a neighborhood party, packing for a business trip, and finishing up some work before said business trip. But I can't complain; a full day makes me happy.

I hope you appreciate operatic voices!

Most days I start at 4-30am and don't finish till after 10pm.
It's nice to have everything done!

Business trips.... how happy I am to be past all that!

I'd love a fire place.
All wine bottles have holes in them. If they didn't, the wine would be trapped. :p

Haha.... I love my fireplace! Don't much like the work to get the wood cut and split, but the end result is worth it!
My man recently bought a 2 1/2 kg block splitter, and it's a bit of an effort to swing it for me - after 3hrs straight, my arms feel like jelly!

Wine really needs tobe in auto-refill bottles

Well, it's the end of my lazy Sunday.
Time to go and play rumpy-pumpy with my man and slip into comfy sleep.
Happy Sunday everyone!
