On some of my posts, the smiley faces are not showing up at the top of the screen like they're supposed to. It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough to annoy me. In the thread "Fatal Attractions Over the Net", I posted and the little winking smiley face at the top of the post didn't show up for me. Can you do anything?

I've had that happen too, and it made one of my posts sound really mean when it was supposed to be funny.

Another "that's weird" question:
Why do some rare posts appear in a serif font in the middle of all the standard Arial posts? Is it a command you can do, like for bold? Maybe for serif? or [T] for typewriter?

That's a really good question, Mustang Sally. I thought I was just maybe seeing things.

Chef, I solved that problem by using Netscape for all my browsing needs.

Really, though, I did. I stopped using that crappy AOL browser. Now I'm just waiting for my husband to get himself a Hotmail account, and we can get rid of AOL. He's a bit slow.

Actually, I think the only way to get rid of them if you still have them is to clear ALL your cookies, which kinda sucks if you have passwords for sites stored in your browser. I think KM knows how to do it.

No, I think it's a screw-up on the part of the BB software.

I love a sense of humor and Ambro's post made me laugh and laugh.

That is until Laurel's post slapped me in the face and left me a blithering idiot laughing on the floor! I'm lucky I didn't pee in my pants.

That alone, made today's BB by itself. Hard to believe this place is free.
