It's like the under 18 rule. Sure it'd be great to come here if you're not 18, but at what cost to everyone else? Too many sites have gone to requiring credit cards for age verification and I'd rather not have that happen to Lit.

My problem isn't actually with the one who posted them, because he apologized. It was the other one P4ME2 who basically said "screw it, I'll do whatever I want" that annoyed me.

I reported the thread to the moderators and they removed it. We are lucky in that the owners of lit allow the moderators and the site users to stick to the rules. For the most part most of us on lit do. When someone doesn't we tell them so they know better or report them when we have to.

Actually, copyright infringement isn't fun. Like Glam's av pics, he snips the watermarks off to post some of the avs. That's a way total no-no in my book. Photogs put them on because they know ripping happens and there is nothing they can do about it. At least this way they get some advertising mileage out of it.

It would be like the recording industry trying to stop each and every one of us from ripping a CD and burning it onto a disc. It's illegal, but impossible to enforce simply by sheer the magnitude.

People just don't respect other people's rights and property anymore.

It's depressing.
