yeah..me and my lil sis are really close...she is oly nineteen and since our parents divorced when we were little i feel like i practically raised her...i'm very protective of her aned don't like to see her hurt or in any sort of pain....casi como un mama!!! ay Dios!!!! even so...i'm not ready to be one yet!!!
well..all is seemingly better...so i want to extend my many thank you's and gracias's for all your prayers....it really did make a difference....

Ok, i hope by me posting this question, non latinos that view the thread and post on here don't take offense to this. I was just talking to a friend of mine on the phone and we were discussing a subject, and i asked her if she knew any sites that were for Latino's only. Not that i'm racista but i know they have a "whitepower.com" site and a "nubianpride" site but i haven't come across a "Latino pride.com" Do any of you know of a site like that??? It's nice to sometimes chat with other latinos about latino issues and things we face just because we are of latin decent. I mean my "non latino" friends don't know about going to the bodega and going to isle 3 and buying sofrito y goya, y cosas asi or going to the bakery on a sunday afternoon to buy "pan dulce"..LoL or getting "chancletasos" LoL!!!

So, if anyone knows of a site like that, pm me or post it here.

K, this is always a fun topic for me. Cus ya know...I'm 100% latino(Born in south america-Chile) and adopted. SO heres the kicker, I dont know spanish(i know, i know!!!)....but i DO know some german and I took 4 years of latin...great huh?!??! lol! Poor me, one of these days I'll learn it!!!! ;o)

My sister doesn't speak spanish either. We were raised with both english and spanish, but as she got older she stopped talking it, she can understand everything that's said to her, but she can't speak it. I speak it still tho. I know some german as well, i took 2 years, but i haven't spoken it in along time. I also speak fluent italian.

Ya know, i'm gonna comment on something right fast. I know you don't come here but every so often so who knows, when you might see this. Let me tell you about not fitting in and how i understand how you feel.
My dad is a mexican my mother is puerto rican/jamaican. So i usually just say i'm latin-west indian. I have never really fit in. I mean i'm mixed with 3 races. I speak spanish. But for some the way i speak isn't not mexican enough and it's not rican enough. I have hazel colored eyes and my skin is very fair. So i haven't been too much accepted by many because i'm too light or not light enough, but you know what? i am who i am and that's what makes me ME. I love myself and accept myself, so as long as i'm comfortable in my own skin, that's all that matters.

I hope you come back again soon. I have told you before that even if you don't know what to say, just post a simple hello and take it from there. We're all family on this thread. Hang around awhile, chat a bit about anything and everything. Make yourself at home. There's no judgement on this thread. Feel free to be you!

As for your flaw... All I can say is it isn't a flaw to me so long as you don't go into long sermons and start saying please stand up, please be seated, please kneel... (on the other hand, if you want me to kneel I may not have a problem with it.... ) but other than that..
