Latest bug (anyone else seeing this?)

Not seeing the duplicated comments. Try an Alt+Refresh and see if the duplicates disappear for you.

I've seen your comment on part2 and I've seen the exact same comment on part3. Too lazy to check more.

It seems Manu was "fixing" stuff again. 😁

Edit: Yup, your comment appears on every chapter. đŸ«€

Okay, it only happens when you click through the "Next in series" links. If you go back to the pen name and click through to the story that way, the duplicates don't show up. It also breaks the "show more" button on comments. If you Alt+refresh, the duplicates vanish, and all works as intended.

So the issue is in the next in series links.

Well, it's universal across browsers, and on mobile. It's any story with multiple parts. Logged in state doesn't matter. It also doesn't require an alt+refresh to fix. A simple refresh will do. Think I've got enough information to make a useful bug report.

Man I wish I had more users doing careful bug reports like this back in my day.

Bug report sent. I've been on the receiving end of bug reports as well. That's why when I find something, I try everything I can think of. Most bug reports are all but useless as they are. They're nothing more than a signpost telling you that you have a couple of hours of trying to replicate the bug before you even bother looking at the code. This one is can be reproduced easily, so hopefully it will be an equally easy fix.

The problem seems to be that the cache containing the comments is not “refreshed” when one uses the “Next part” or “Previous part” buttons. As a result, only the comments from the first chapter of the story that one clicked on directly are displayed. If one manages to click e.g. from chapter 1 to chapter 10 of a very long story via "Next part" , one still sees only the comments from chapter 1 in chapter 10.
