Late Night Chat

Once, long ago, in a board far, far away (aka the GB) there was a group of individuals who tended to be up way too late for their own good and decided to pass the time by chatting with one another.

That thread is long gone and I'm not even sure if the posters are around anymore, but I am up late and figured why not see what we could get started.

I mean I can only think of so many different dirty words, five word phrases, and descriptions of myself.

I think this is an awesome idea/thread! It's sometimes hard to chat with people on the game threads, because You kinda feel like You're 'hijacking' and disrupting the other players...

Yeah the game threads can get fairly competitive too. I always feel like a dolt if I skip a person, or end up posting at the exact same time as another poster.

Of course tonight might not be a great night to start this thread with many people out and about enjoying the season.

Did You have a loverly Christmas? I'm kinda sad that it's all over ....

This was my first Christmas all alone. I am neither sad nor happy it is over.

I cooked myself a nice dinner, watched a football game, opened a few gifts and waited for the snow that has yet to arrive*.
I also found out how hard it is too get a plumber to come out to your houase on Christmas.

How was yours? Why are you sad?

Yes. A night owl. Always have been. Work, school, and general activities tend to force me to go to bed earlier than I want, but with dealing with my own rhythms i sleep during the day and mess around at night

I wake up at 10 PM! And then, I have to force myself to go to bed at a decent time, because I usually start work at 9 AM! *laughs*

All day long, I bitch and complain about how freakin' tired I am, and I promise myself I'm gonna to bed early! But, 10 PM rolls around, and I'm wide awake!

I need 8 hours of sleep, but I'm lucky if I get 5!

I generally try to be in bed by 12:30, but it is a struggle. I have the next week off so i'll stay up as late as I damn well please!
