Nearly 70 years of corrupt, greed driven mismanagement of all manner of policy that's been chipping away at the citizens freedom to make an honest living for themselves.

Market protecting, arbitrary licencing, regulations that have no real reason other than to be weaponized against commerce the elites don't approve of.......and the quasi fascistic police state/bureaucratic monsters to enforce it all.

Anything outside of selling your intellectual property (which is still spendy if you want to be careful, and you should) you need to have hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions to sit around on a fully inspection ready operation that's not operating while you wait on an army of lawyers to go beat and bribe pols into giving you a permit to hustle some bucks.

Can't even be a fucking lawn boy in some places (like CA) without saving up a couple hundred thou first to pay lawyers to go beg for permits/licencing that you might not even get.

And if you try to do ANYTHING without that shit? You might as well be a Narco-terrrorist.
