Last time I heard Obama say comprehensive health care reform is needed to boot the economy, I thought "He might be right, but there are plenty of experts stating that he is wrong. I'll take a 'wait and see' approach."

Knowing what we know about his plan and its true cost, I think Obama was wrong.

Now I hear Obama say how we need comprehensive immigration reform to boost the economy. Should I believe him? Nope.

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, call me a Democrat.

He also said we don't have a spending problem.

We don't, we have a priority problem. No country that can raise taxes and cover it's spending has a spending problem.

Disagree. A spending problem is defined as "a level of spending that is unsustainable." Unsustainable is defined as "not able to be maintained at the current rate or level."

Regardless of priorities, there is only so much money to go around. 2/3 of the economy is based on consumer spending. Every $ the GOVT takes results in 66 cents less going into the economy.
