Last Penny Pressed Today

Australia we lost 1 & 2 cents in 1991. Rounding up and down rules to nearest 5 cent.

Like... I need a fucking HUG!!! I;m a wreck! Can we stop ruining who we are, please?

Good riddance. Why oh why are we still carrying around filthy germy coins and paper money in this digital age?

It's not like there aren't billions in circulation. They aren't disappearing.

I'm so glad we've moved forward. I don't miss the days of having to go to the bank on Friday to withdraw enough cash to get through the weekend, or having to use an ATM to get money.

I watch a lot of Youtubers who emigrated to Japan, and for all the technological advances in that country, you have to carry cash to go to restaurants. That's crazy.

As far as your Japan comment that is wrong. Most places accept C/C only. There are many small resteraunts that only accept cash.
But since you hate cash so much Im sure you enjoy paying more $$$ to corporations and big businesses. Small mom and pops prefer cash.
Cash is king !

I'd say a penny for your thoughts, but you don't have any 😆😁😅😅

Thanks for your judgment of me. Do you feel better now?

I have a jar of pennies. If pennies become unused everywhere then I can stop accumulating them. But I expect coins will eventually become more common than paper money, as they were centuries ago.

Maybe now they will have room in that cash drawer for the fifty cent piece or dollar coin like we use to have but did away with because the money drawer did not have another slot.

... ; P

Like the penny. I am, once upon a time, a measure that mattered.
Alas... I no longer Aam.
