OOC: Ok, this thread plays off various elements of fantasy, for instance my character is a shapeshifter, often taking the shapes of large cats or the like. What other roles are there? Well there are good characters to be filled, and darker ones. I leave that up to imagination ^_^
The story takes place on the Midian Continent, once a place thriving with wildlife and mixed races it is now consumed by industrialization and privateering. Most of the primitive races had fled west over the mountains and have founded small villages as places of rest and refuge, including the druids. My character Jade is shown fleeing for her life from her tracker, and so I'll need someone to play a bounty hunter type role. You can be working alone, or with someone else *shrugs*. In any case, well you get the idea. Any questions PM me ^_^

The reeds and the grass of the Ladesian highlands were quickly trampled over as a majestic black panther sprinted its way towards the looming forest that lay ahead. Wind billowed against the front of its face as it's golden eyes quickly darted forward, side to side, and even behind as it searched for its predator. The only time its movement was hindered was if it had stumbled in its fast footing, caught on some rock or root.
The difference with this creature was the markings that littered its fur: glowing lilac runes and symbols adorned much of its body, aluring to the fact that this panther was something special. Unfortunately, it was alone in the world, or it thought so anyways. Hope lay within the forest, and beyond the Great Highway leading through the mountains where she hoped to discover others like herself.
In an instant, taking a small leap into the air, the panther quickly changed back into its humanoid form, still maintaining the speed it had had while in animal form. Eventually the girl stopped near a grove of trees and rested. She had lost her pursuer for a while, and desperately needed a break.
