Last minute shopping

I thought I wrapped it up today.
Can you believe how inexpensive DVD/Blue Ray players are these days? Bought one for less than $60 for the grandchildren. And Zootopia to go with it.
Then I moved over to the food section and got everything on the list plus some other stuff.
When I got home and started putting stuff away I realized I had the pie but not the whipped cream or its artificial, perhaps more popular competitor. I can eat pie without, but others who will be in the house Christmas Day are likely less forgiving.
So it's at least one more trip to the store.

I use the KitchenAid, some sugar, and a little vanilla with the heavy whipping cream. Oh, one time I made a mascaropne whipped cream for strawberry shortcake! That held up so well.

I am one of those assholes that gets the shopping done way of ahead of time. It not that I am ocd. When ever I am out and about and spot something my person will like I just buy it then wait for present time. I find I spend less money and get a better gift with no stress.

I know exactly what you mean. My partner often boasts of having all her Christmas shopping done by July.
A lot of what was purchased today was impulse, gifts as well as food.

I had to run into target today. It was so bad. When I was parking some lady on her phone was cutting through the lanes of the lot and almost hit me. Oblivious to me and the horn I laid on. I wish I could have called her a stupid bitch to her face. The holidays are great.
