Long story with lotsa drama but here's the gist:
I've just found out that I'm being sent back stateside in May instead of July like was previously planned. So this means a huge rush of stuff to do and not much time to do it in. And after getting stateside won't have internet (water/electic comes first of course) so won't be online much.
*Sighs*

A bit mine, a lot my command's fault. I've been calling this my "Last Great Screwing" by the military. *shakes head* which is at least better then my current recommendation that all of my co-workers carry a bottle of lube cause dang the AF leaders are rough when they're screwing you over.

But I'll be happy to see LA again. I've missed seeing the stars at night far more then I thought I would.

First- internet- I'll be online at my friend's house for a while but not as often as I am now.


As to the starts- I'm about 1-2 hrs outside of LA depending on traffic and such.
Right at the base of some mountains and yeah you can see lots of stars out there. Especially compared to Japan.
