I don't know who my examiners are (or will be as the case may be). I'm only a number and they don't know me and I don't know them and I will never find out. It's not a nice feeling, being a number. But they probably did it so you and Rebecca can't 'talk' to them.

You just reminded me of a man ( a friend ) I had many years ago. Tall Icelandic Artist I promoted/designed/made/produced a shared Art Show he was in . The Dawn of Loki . Ohh Eddy had a wicked sense of humor.

Long story short , semi starving artist needing some financial government assistance short term. Went for an interview at the appropriate Government Office, when asked what his skills were he replied in the most distinct of Icelandic accents that ' I hunt de seaaaaaals'.........omg laughs. Perhaps the story may be more amusing if you know this was said in Sydney Australia. Not much call for seal hunters. They couldn't place him in part time employment so he managed the 'assistance' short term.

My cousin-in-law is Icelandic. It was unfortunate that she perished so soon (9 months after getting wed) but I did learn two or three words from the Icelandic/English wedding that was held.

I also knew that the thatched delta was similar to the thorn, as I've seen it used a lot in Old English texts (Beowulf, for example.)
