Lager, Beer and the World Cup!

In the supermarket carpark, I have to rapid jump out of the
way of a Golf GTI idiot car, who squeals to a halt diagonally across 2 car park spaces. Two guys get out. Shortly afterwards
said guys come of with 12 packs of lager on each shoulder.
Said car accelerates out of car park at maximum revs.

Is it for me to be a spoilsport to say that supermarkets promoting the worldcup by doing "Buy one get one free" on alcahol is a fecking stupid and irresponsible idea?

Having a few drinks with the game with your pals is okay. But
surely this policy increases consumption, and therefore drunkeness and violence?

I'm totally naffed off with it.

It's the part of our culture that im ashamed of The football and drunkeness link will never be broken. At least our fan's have been behaving so far in Korea/Japan.
