Ladies-What happened to you when you reached 40?

Re: what was it that contributed to your libido change???

Was your hubby happy about it:

TIme made the change. My man has no problems with it whatsoever. Enjoy is his motto!

40s

My 40's have been the most exciting, productive, and liberating decade of my life!

Although I have made a lot of mistakes, taking full responsibility for them, and living life the way YOU want to, makes up for any hardships.

I'm a bit sad that my next birthday will bring me to a new decade of time. I'm not too bothered, but have to admit that turning 50 is something I had hoped to do AFTER I grew up!!:D

I never experienced the depression that some women feel at turning 40 - maybe because I look 10-12 years younger than I am.

But so far, the 40s have been the best decade yet! I'm more comfortable with who I am - and I ain't perfect, believe me! Throughout my 20s and 30s I was more concerned with how others saw me, always living up to others perception of what was attractive, or "in", or "cool". Now, I set my own standards. I know what I like, I know what feels comfortable, and if somebody doesn't like.....tough.

If I start to develop a fantasy about something, I go after it. I'm not afraid to try new things, explore new avenues. And I know I can make it happen - not wait around for it to occur.

After these many years, I've discovered that if a man isn't happy with what I have, let him go. There'll be another along shortly to take his place.

I think it's a combination of these things that I'm finding myself with more male company than I can keep track of. And I've been shocked at the number of men in their 20s who are chasing after me. Who'd would of thought that? But that's good - I find men in their 50s difficult to keep up with me. Not all, but most. So I'm finding that I gravitate towards younger men - men still in their 30s.

The 40s are great! And if things get better with time, I'll be looking forward to my 50s!

I like your honesty...but seriously , how do you have time for sex with a two year old....you've GOT to be tired by 7pm....

Would you care to rephrase this question?:(

OOPS, Missy, am I the only one to missed that?

You all have had GREAT thoughts, Ideas, and answers...

Missy, I will more appropriately rephrase the question(thanks for the nudge)

I had asked a 42 year old special lady how she found time for good lovin' with her hubby when she had 1 or more little ones (plus working) etc.

When I put my kids to bed at 8pm, I'm too pooped to pop, literally.!!!!!:D

I'm dying to know...I have a vested interest in your answers!!!

Well, I'll be 45 this year, and frankly, I don't feel any different than when I was in my 30's. Still have the same high libido I've always had. Perhaps a little wiser now.....
