I'm curious as to what you ladies like to see most in man, so if you would post a description of your ideal man broken down into asthetics, personality, and sexuality.

My first requirement has to be intelligence........Mensa's a plus. He shouldn't be so ugly as to frighten dogs and children. He has to have a decent size penis and know how to use it. Last but not least a 6" tongue.

Lets see ... this is not easy ... I like him to be funny, non-violent, but protective (does that make sense?), RESPECTFUL, intelligent (book, street, and common), well-read, likes plays and musicals, and poetry. Loves to cook AND do dishes. Willing to help around the house with chores, soft hands for great massages, sculpted arms - but not too built. Able to drive a manual transmission car (there's something very sexy about that), listens to all types of music. Um ... knows how to work on cars, stuff in the house, etc - basically, good with his hands in all respects! Open-minded, willing to try new things (activities, foods, sexual positions ...) Likes children ... and animals - especially dogs ... able to hold lengthy conversations, able to express emotion ... deep, pensive eyes ... and ... well ... that's all I can think of off the top of my head ... is that good enough? Sorry it was so scatter-brained ... it was sortof spur-of-the-moment. Let me know if you want something more specific.

I like strong men, not physicaly half so much as mentally and emotionaly. He has to be someone I can trust completely and turn to for compassion and reassurance. I like them to be protective, but I also need guys who know when to back the hell off and let me handle a situation myself. Humor is a plus, of course. I really like men who know how to use their hands and mouth. If they can turn me on with a few well placed caresses without going sp far to have to undress me to do it, I'll melt right in his hands.

The first thing I look for is intelligence followed closely by a sense of humor. Someone who is sure of themself, but not in an obnoxious way. I like someone who challenges me, can take my shit when I give it right back to them. Someone who can have fun going out with friends or staying in. Someone who wants an equal partner. Sensitive, but not overly sensitive. And someone who likes to talk as much as I do. At least that's a start!

I can think of a few things that I like in a man, more tho that I can think of in a woman, but that's not the darned question so...
When I first meet a man that I might want to get to know, here's what attacts me:
A man that is actually a MAN, not one that needs to be taught how to be. He can even be a gay or bisexual man, so long as he acts out his sex. He is educated and when he speaks, you can tell.
He doesn't have to be reminded how to treat a woman. He smiles and is visibly happy. He takes charge of life.
What keeps me attracted:
He stimulates me as much as I can stimulate him, in more ways than just sexually.
He's interesting enough to keep my attention. He doesn't go through life just passing...he makes attempts to "keep it fresh."
And since I am being honest, eyes. The eyes of the man I will fall for will hold my attention on their own.
I like the usual also: defined muscles, but not TOO much, healthy and fit. Doesn't mean I wouldn't spend time with someone who wasn't, but they would have to fall into the categories above.
I need there to be a spark. I need to have a reason to notice.
That said, I can tell you that I've only found this in a woman, with the exception of the first sentence of course. I want ladylike in a woman.
That's my thoughts.

As others before me have said, intelligence is first on my list. I like a man who is well read and interested in a variety of topics. He should hopefully be compassionate, understanding, share my political views, enjoy spending time together (as well as apart). Someone who is very physical, by that I mean not afraid to touch or show affection. Someone who has goals and dreams and who is working toward them, but not in an over-acheiver fashion.
Physcial beauty is definitley tyed to inner beauty and therefore I do not need a "stud muffin". I like a man who will support my hopes, dreams and desires.
I think that about sums it up for me.

I really don't care much about looks; as long as he looks human.

He must be witty and charming. Above average intelligence. Should be my intellectual equal or better. Can make me laugh without trying. MUST be eccentric; mainstream, "average joes" are a total turn-off.

Must be sexually adventurous in bed. Not inhibited.

He has to be over 6 foot, be able to carry on stimulating conversation, be able to fix a car by himself, a nice bright smile is a must, not be so damn sensitive about things, and respect me for what I am.

He must be able to control me when I am bratty, and a big cock isn't totally out of the question.
