I liked Whitechappel. We get your shows usually 6 months or so after you get them. I guess it depends if BBC america or netflix sees the shows as something america would watch. Racists.

Prime Suspect and Cracker are the best of them.

I still remember the Cracker episode about the guy who went mental after the Hillsborough disaster here, he was played by Robert Carlyle who was relatively unknown then. Brilliant performance but disturbing.

the early crackers were gritty, grown-up tv. it seemed to get watered down later on. RC is one of my favourite actors to watch.

Well try and stick with Cracker, maybe the first episode is a bit weak (if I remember rightly) then it goes all gritty and stuff.

Wallander made me want to open a vein in boredom.
