Ladies...is there such thing as a "good tit day?"

Who is he?

British actor Idris Elba. A dude I'd gladly switch places with right now! :D

He's really A-list right now and melting panties off women everywhere in the process, surprised you don't know of him.

I rarely watch TV, nor read entertainment news. If he's in a movie I might have seen him.

Only if Broccoli's wife dies and someone more open-minded gets to pick the actor.

True.

Although casting Judi Dench as M for her multi-pic reign was genius and now with the new Q being practically a college boy, anything is still possible.

He's been in lots of movies, usually stateside productions but just not typically the recognizable lead in any of them except for a couple I know of off the top of my head. Incredibly versatile, does both serious drama and popcorn action fare without missing a beat. I think his TV work (where he got his start) has been exclusively British.

He played Heimdall in Thor, which kinda caused a stupid stir amongst die-hard mythologist fan twerps because, you know, Heimdall just can't be black. Didn't understand the fuss because he got the least amount of screen time and dialogue in the flick besides Rene Russo.

I think he'd make a good Bond, but I don't view him as a good actor.

If we were to stay with black and British, then Chiwetel Ejiofor gets my vote.

I haven't seen Thor, I think I have it in my movie collection though. I should go looky.

While everyone ooh'd and ahh'd over the lead actors, he was the one I went "yum" over.

He is awesome.

Did you ever watch the BBC show Luther that he stars in? I love that show.

Obviously the wire was good, but check out Luther if you haven't. Most of it is on netflix instant I think.

Christ we agree.

I hope he does another season. His side kick in that was in a 4 parter over here last year called Good Cop. Dunno if you can get that over there but that was good also.

The side kick? Meaning the "crazy" chick? Or the cop

The awesome captain in Prometheus.

rogue in The Losers

In the always upcoming Pacific Rim by del Toro. This movie keeps getting delayed so it may suck.

Shit, I keep on meaning to check out Luther.

Loved him in The Wire, obviously.
