Ladies is the word "cunt" offensive?

i reckon there will be as many opinions on this as there are people in the world.

i've known some people, not just ladies, who find it supremely offensive; i've known one or two female friends who'll drop the word under provocation.

once, during a boozy night out in aldershot, while standing in the queue for a kebab, i witnessed a very attractive [which has no bearing on the issue] lady in her late 20s shout out 'CUNT!' just before she thrust a bag of hot chips into a bloke's face.

to be fair, he'd been acting the dickhead for quite some time - taunting the lady and her friend in a very uncomplimentary manner.

it was a top comedy moment, and her really did [IMO] deserve it.

:D

If people choose to use the word or enjoy being called that, then it is their prerogative. I know there are times it is mentioned in public, a movie, or something and I just cringe internally, but don't make a fuss. I personally dislike the word and will not stand to be called it.

It is a right place, right time, right moment, who says it and how thingie ;) and mostly depending on how close a relationship for those involved with the cunt-ing :cattail:

Personally, I prefer twat.

Example:

Some twat got her panties in a bunch.

Some twathead PM'd me a random dick pic.

i don't like it in a sexual context. when i'm angry, though, it's one of my best friends.

I have a female friend who said women do not like the word and find it offensive.
My question is when you read it in many of the stories on this website is it offensive, a turn on or what. What word would you prefer?
post or send me a private response with your thoughts. Thanks

Nope...I love my cunt...and I'm quite fond of some others too...

talk about my beautiful cunt and what you want to do to it...call me a cunt, or try and make me look like one, however and I'll show you what a cunt I can be...

Personally I have no problem with it at all and use it in my audios and stories. I know many men find it arousing and love to hear it. Doesn't make me flinch in the slightest. I heard a hilarious quote using it I always liked.

"I'd call you a cunt, but you lack both the depth and the warmth."

I'm stealing that...:D

I do find it very offensive and insulting- if that is the intent then it is very affective-

Where I'm from the word cunt is not offensive at all.

It's not used as a sexual word either, it's evolved into for example 'look at that silly cunt with sandals on'

He's not a cunt, it's just become an expression.

I find the word prick more offensive.

I thought so. Yet this is confusing because many British people I know well have told me otherwise about this word

You know how in Italy you have divides on regions like Piedmont, Naples and Florence etc.

We have it here to. Over time the UK has kind of become small city states within the nation.

I mean, I go a couple of miles down the road and it's like being on mars. It really is that different.

It makes sense :)
