It's natural!
In most of the animal kingdom, it's the male which is the more spectacular.
All that dressing up and mad hairdressing is natural to men. It's all this boring grey and khaki and shaven heads which is the aberration.
Your outfit should be shouting "Hey look at me!". The last time that it did that was the glam rock era, but the hippies were pretty colourful, and so were 19th century Hussars, the Elizabethans, late mediaeval men with their hugely pointed shoes etc.
You are a man not a mouse, you don't need to blend into the background.
