So obviously we don't want condoms and won't use them with hubby. I mean more on randos?

What are your thoughts, safety, etc?

Hubby and I had long long talks about this after my first gloryhole experience. I even went so far as to go and see me very understanding and often amused GP. There is still a risk of contracting things like chlamydia, syphilis, genital herpes and other STI's from performing fellatio. The level of risk is minimised by a thorough inspection prior to stuffing a cock in my mouth. Any sign of sores, blemishes, discharges or smells and it doesn't go in my gob. Forget putting a condom on it, if it's not 100 percent healthy looking, smelling and feeling then it's just not on. My gp gave me a lot of medical links to look at various symptoms ranging from extreme to very mild but even with an educated inspection there is a small risk of infection. Not all persons who carry STI's show obvious symptoms. Things like herpes can be shed through the skin without symptoms. So, we agreed on a risk minimisation routine that included small controlled populations, thorough inspection and regular check ups. That's for bj's. Any vaginal sex requires a condom unless it's one of two people other than hubby who are known clean. My gp suggested condoms as an option to be further protected but even the flavoured ones taste gross and weird. So, it's a NO from me. No condoms for cocksucking.

Condoms taste nasty. I wet one with my mouth
I give a great BJ and the reward for my effort is the feel and taste in my mouth.
I will not do a glory hole because I want to see my partner before I suck.
In my "go bag" I have listerine, baby wipes, a small vibrator, tissues, and antiseptic wipes for the toys.
I rinse and then flush my mouth with listerine after sucking a stranger. It's gotta help some.

This was what I was curious about, in the less... committed situation. Thanks hun.

My friend Andrea. Pronounced like a spanish kind of thing even though his name is Andrew. He has genital herpes from receiving head from someone with a cold sore. Yup... Completely the wrong simplex and on his tackle. Fucking poor boy. Now he has to limit sexual encounters rigorously due to his infected status and it really kills him. It's probably healthy for him as a gay man given a lot of the other STI risks that are prevalent for gay men. He does not have oral symptoms and my gp told him blow jobs were fine without protection, the virus was shedding through his genital nerves not his mouth. One of the reasons he loves visiting my hole in the wall to get a little wild now and then.

I remember this phase! It was at the beginning of the AIDS epidemic. Condoms were used to stop a giver from getting the disease by preventing infected semen from entering her or I guess his mouth. They also had these dams which were shields to be used in cunnilingus to prevent the spread.

I never understood why one would put themselves at risk in the first place by attempting intimate contact with someone who had the disease. We just spent almost two years isolating one another from another type of virus and it worked. When I caught COVID, I stayed in one side of the house and the wife stayed in another side. We avoided any contact including intimate contact! So why would someone want to put their mouth on someone infected? Why would someone infected wish to risk someone else who is not infected? That was where the condom idea for blowjobs came from.

I usually do not judge others for their desires but the whole idea of how the blowjob condoms came to play kinda gives me the willys!
