There aren't any enforceable rules, come on folks this is the GB.

Suffice it to say that if you don't nominate, or the troll doesn't self nominate they aren't going to make the cut for the final vote. Nominations for trolls that infest other forums are welcome. A little cross-forum research is healthy and nominations from forums other than the GB will bring to our attention any worthy trolls that might otherwise be overlooked so be sure to indicate the particular forum your nomination infests. I'm quite certain that the GB doesn't have a monopoly on trolls.

You need to define "troll."

Do you mean in the modern sense of someone who follows you about nipping at your heels constantly? Or in the classic sense of one who poses questions or makes statements that are obviously wrong, in order to generate the maximal number of replies?

Because the former is often just an idiot consumed with anger about things that happened off the board and comes to the board so they can vent their rage somewhere, or they might feel they've been humiliated on the board, so they create another account thinking they can snipe from the shadows, not realizing they've given up any traction they might have had. The latter is much more clever, and if they can construct an unbelieveable argument and cause people to believe they believe it, you have a 1000-post thread, which is the goal of trolling in that sense.
