In light of being in Survivor , my ‘novel’ is called 30 Stories in 30 Days. Current excerpt

The onlyest thing is that 50K words / 4K (my average short-story length) = 12.5 stories. Eh! Bien. That’s still impetus to crank out another dozen or so at least before the end of the year.

As that band titled its record, ‘Sofa So Good.’

I'd never even attempt the survivor contest. I think I've forgotten how to write anything under twenty thousand words. Does that make me long winded?

But I'm almost 17,000 into the nano. And the first chapter came out today, so give it a read if you're bored. It's called Callie's Shadow.

I did that last year. The "novel" I was writing didn't work out so well, so I worked on a few other things, one novel in German that I'm still co-writing with my friend, my NaNo entry from the year before... and it did add up to 50k in the end. I just had to mark wherever I started and stopped to write, and then I had one big empty document into which I copied and pasted all of that. It was a big mess to read, but it did represent the 50k I wrote that month.

I'm editing last years NaNo. Hopefully for the final time... except for the re-writes... which will require editing... it's endless.
