Did any one else experience that thunderstorm friday night?? I could go for another one of those right about now, it was fantastic

I was visiting friends in extreme SE KS so missed most of the good stuff... but yeah, I love thunderstorms! There's nothing like waking in the night to lightning, thunder, and the wonderful sound of pouring rain. It's even better if you have someone to snuggle with while you go back to sleep. And don't get me started on being out in one... I'm a true Kansas girl, and our weather, whatever it may do, is awesome and awe-inspiring.

My dad and brother work at a grain cooperative, and I know they're praying for a couple days of rain to give everyone a chance to breathe during this busy harvest season... so we'll see. Bring on the thunderstorms.

The thunder storms are about the only thing I miss from kansas. When you live someplace for such a long time you become accustom to the weather and climate. The storms just are not the same here.
