I’m having an ongoing discussion with a friend … about what is kinky or what makes a person kinky … I do realize there are many different things out there that people do and many different ways that they do them that makes them seem kinky. And what may be kinky to me may not be kinky to you and visa versa … I’d just like little more input, so If you feel like giving some input to this subject please do leave a replay. I dont' really do it, or at least never had. But I'd consider it kinky just maybe a little too kinky for me, maybe?

For some reason, I don't really view role playing, per se, as kinky. Guess it depends on what the roles are and how they are played out. But just your basic nurse and patient, french maid, or whatever, I don't think there's much kink in that.

I don't find anal sex to be particularly kinky.

I think that what might be kinky for one might not be for other's. I know that my idea about just "what" activity might be considered kinky has changed over the year's. When I was around 20 yrs old I thought giving a man a bj was kinky and doing anything considered BDSM ~ D/s was off the scale. At that time I was innocent enough that I didn't even have a label to define the BDSM~D/s stuff as such. 3~somes and more~somes were definitely kinky as well as being bi-sexual being kinky!

Around my 30's I had come to the conclusion that I no longer considered a bj to be kinky I did put the rest of what I felt was kinky still there. By then I had learned that there were people who did stuff like making film's and pictures of a x-rated nature. Now I am considered "middle age" and have come to realize there is an amazing variety of sexual and erotic wonderfully kinky thing's for us to explore and if we like enjoy.

My list are things that excite me (I mean if it does not excite you it would just be wierd or sick) but I do not think the majority of people on an adult web site such as Lit would find kinky.

I agree with you completely, I was trying to define my thoughts of kinky. Kinky to me is things really far out of the norm, not so many years ago, as Corkie said the list I made, would have included many of the things that were only practiced by a few "kinky" people are now practiced by a greater number of people, if not most. Anal sex is common place and for some couples preferable to vaginal, many people enjoy mild forms of bondage and masocism, so can we now call those practices kinky, if they are so close to the norm? Granted there are still people that would veiw anything other than a kiss, a feel, and missionary intercourse as kinky, but I believe those people are now farther from the norm than those who we would have considered "kinky" not so many years ago.
