Original answers in my first post above are still valid.

Update to quoted post:

Oldest incomplete story is now on 3.5 floppy and two hard drives. It is still bad and the version hasn't changed. I still have the XT in working order but I have copied all the files from it to a CD.

However my first published story? I have been digging in the files. I found a travel article from 1950, a story from 1951 and a play script from 1952.

I now have a total of over 100 posted stories on Lit as the sum of Og and jeanne_d-artois. Og has 99 and 6 poems. The 100th Og story should be submitted in the next few days.

Outstanding Ogg.

A demi-Centurian, sounds like he could be in one of your tales ;)

Bows to the mighty Og.. he beats my first professional submission by nearly 3 decades.. hell in fact in 1951... My daddy hadn't even ...... wellllll.... at least there were none he admitted to at that point

Og is well known as a writer, and also a diabolically intellectual scientist delving into the mysteries of communications with lesbian spider phenomenoms and stuff.

Og rocks and has a cool hat!!!!!

The spider's back!!!!

Congrats Ogg, by no means a small feat. Well done hon.

Thank you for these kind sentiments.

I regret to say that all three published works were dire and have justifiably perished in the mists of time (which means I'm not going to republish).

Much of my later work before the internet was boring factual reports, training manuals, etc. Perhaps the answers I drafted to Parliamentary Questions might be classified as 'Fiction' but as the author of such answers I was, as is the tradition, 'anonymous'.
