Alright, this goes out to ANYONE!!!! I mean ANYONE!!!!! Who wants to RPG Somthing that is already founded and played out to a point, I want to ressurect one of this boards GREATEST accomplishments, the King and Country thread, so ANYONE Who wants to play, Post here and who you will play. I Do suggest reading as much of it as possible though.

GAME ON!

OOC: I'm in, I was briefly in the other one. I had taken over Vixen for Moneytalks but I'm sure she will wish to play her so I will use my other char

Name: Drusilla
Age: Unknown
Hair: Raven Black
Eyes: Violet with flecks of gold
Height: 5'9

INFO: Drusilla is somewhat of a Vampire except for the need for blood. She is of an ancient race known as the Aralians. They Are raely seen for they usually stick to their mysterious island. There kingdom is impossible to reach unless you are of their Race or guided by one. Few of them however leave and explore the outside world. Drusilla is an outcast, former princess of the kingdom she was cast out over a disagreement with the preists. She now travels the lands. She met Lokken when he was but a young man. She sensed the power within him and they traveled for a time. She fell in love and during a battle she was seperated from him and thrown into a prison. She has not seen him since she escaped which was many years later.

Ok, I've been out of it for a while. The whole thread literotica posting things. But, I'm back now, and I'm looking for some action!

now I read as much of the King and country thread as I could before having a brain hemerage. Albeit, I was new and didn't know the sere size of the dam thing, I gave up after about the first hundred and fifty posts or so, but I think I got the gist

first off, I need to know this. are we starting a new thread entirely while using the same basic concept behind the original? (basic plot, history and scenery) or are we just continuing the old?

you see, I have a little of a problem. I'm an ice man, and all of my characters must have some relationship to ice. initially, while I was reading King and Country, my mind worked on creating an ice man that would fit nicely into the thread. Thus Ether Melt was first cognified. Now Ether is dead, but he is my best character, and I wouldn't feel comfortable using anyone else. How can I bring him back or clone or imitate him approprietly?

......oops, there goes my brain again. the gears are spinning faster than the particles in a WYG standerd issue railgun (the flashcannon from "the grid"

Ok, here's the stats.

Name; Ether Melt
Race; Ice elemental/human hybrid
Age; 24
height; 5'9"
Eye-color; icy-blue
hair color; icy-blue
skin-color; pale-blue
Normal body temperature; 270 degrees Kelvin (-3.5 celcius)
favorite weapons; ice saber, Blizzard katana
Armor; blue crystalline Cuirass.

History; Ether's mother fell in love with, and procreated with, an ice elemental. Ether's mother was a poet and was raising her son to follow suit. An evil elemental wizard however killed the ice elemental and his wife however, thrusting the poetic youth into the life of a fighter. Ether's uncle magiced the souls of his parents into his weapons and armor. about 7 years ago, the neutral god of ice accepted Ether as a cleric in his name. Being of neutral nature, Ether fights for what's right, not necessaraly what's good. He is a strong advocate of fairness, and vengance is a neccesary was to maintain fairness. Ether never has any thoughts about humanity (the act of being humane) and would just as soon murder innocent children to maintain population count as he would lay down his own life to save an elderly peasent. he is not cruel, but fair.

Ether is a mercenary, yes. but he does nothing for money. A little water is all he needs for sustanence, and has no desire for pleasentries like posetions, comfortable beds, or skillfull "entertainers" (the love of his life was a fire siren. and once you go flame, you never go plane) He is a living oxymoron, seing as he prefers solitude, yet strives for contact.

I'm in. Lokken, as usual. We can't go throwing Lokken out, can we? On a side note, I might bring in Wrathlance or Thrinta sometime. Fuge will be in also.

Hmmm... Ether and Lokken reunited at last. but how will we interact them? This is taking place early in Ether's life, before they were able to resolve anything! also, I don't know at what point in Lokken's life it is, so I can't decide if they've even met before (or remember one another as the case may be. This place has too many anachronisms)

OOC: hmm this thread seems to have stopped before it started? *pouts* I was hoping for King an Country.

Don't worry, Lady Siren, I'm still in. Roland probably is as well. Probably Cryo too. Cryo, this is very early inb Lokken's life. He's only 500 years old!

Diddo. I'll just go with the flow and see what happens.

Ok, through some carefull deliberation! (I had an apifiny) I discovered what made King and Country so great.

At the beginning, there was a call for adventureers, so the adventurers met each other in the begining and worked their way from there. We're not all like Poohlive who can spend months developing his character before widdling himself into the main storyline. Most of us need contact and encouredement.

Do that right away, and your set.

Lokken gazed from the top of the hill down on the city below. "Why the hell do I have to do these people's dirty work?" he cursed. He ran forward drawing his sword and blowing a wall down. He charged into the city and ran forward until he was to the palace. He cast confusion on both gaurds, and they just stood there as he charged by. He had cut through a few gaurds before he got to the throne room. The grand Advisor stood over the King's body, dagger raised. Lokken threw out a small knife, and it caught the Advisor in the neck. He slumped to the ground. Lokken teleported himself to the portal and stepped through. He appeared in his own castle, nice and content. Then when he went to sleep, Belial came to him.

Drusilla was tired, more then tired she was exhausted. She had just managed to finally get across the sea away from the prison she had lived in for almost 100 years. Luckily her race aged very slowly. She had contemplated going back home but had decided against it. There was nothing there awaiting her, only heartache and pain. Though now she had that everywhere she went. Lokken... his name often played through her head. Everyday in that prison she had thought of him. Praying he was ok, and still her mind lingered on him and the memories. Stumbling she collapsed under a tree. She knew the sun would be out soon, it always weakened her and with her strength down she would be almost defensless. Shad had to find shelter. Forcing herself to stand up she headed towards the lights in the distance. They soon developed into a small town. Stopping at the first building she knocked on the door. A middle aged woman answered her face soon clouding with concern when she saw the poor state Drusilla was in. Ushering her inside the woman smiled kindly. "Please rest here " she said "My name is Sarah" Drusilla smiled gratful for Sarah's kindness. "I am Drusilla thank you very much" she said then collapsed on the bed that was offered to her and drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

OOC; if this is the ooc thread, shouldn't we post the story in a different thread?

IC; Ether stepped out of his tent into the cold, morning air. He felt young again, as though he hasn't been on an adventure in years (which is an odd feeling, considering he IS young, and he hasn't even had many adventures yet to begin with). Oh well, no time to dawdle on that now.

Ether looked to his right, and in the distance. Lokken is here, he thought. Memories if his unfinished quest flooded him, even though technically he hadn't had that quest yet. This world is very strange indeed.

Having nothing else to work off of, Ether packed up his stuff, and headed west.

OOC: I suppose you are right but to the best of my knowledge no one has opened a regular thread

IC: Drusilla's eyes fluttered open and she stared for a moment at the ceiling of the small farm house. Sitting up she noticed everyone was asleep. Taking some money out of her purse she placed it on the table then left. Stretching in the evening light she smiled happy to be healthy and once more on the rode. Turning she headed out of town unsure where she was headed, but knowing that she was headed their alone.

"Why am i always followed by trunderstorms?" cursed Lokken at Thrinta. Once again, a storm was seemed to be following them. Lightning lanced out here and there but none too close. Lokken picked up the pace, and Thrinta silently followed. "I hate to speak blasphemy, lord, but why must you always do what Belial says?" asked Thrinta suddenly. "Because if I don't fix the shit these worlds are in, who will?" came the reply, but with a twinge of bitterness.

Drusilla was being followed of that she was sure. She could feel someones eyes burning into her back and they weren't friendly. Pretending not to notice she continues on wondering when this figure would show itself. Just when she was about to give up and just say it was nerves a man stepped out in front of her. He wore a strange looking ninja type outfit and his eyes were red. He bowed low "I am Drake, it is a pleasure to meet you Drusilla. Your fame is spoken among my kind" frowning she studied him sure she had seen him before. Then it hit her, he was a dark rider, hunter of her race. Stepping back she took a defensive stance. "What do you want" she asked her eyes narrowing. Chuckling he shook his head. "Not what I want, who I want" he began circling her like a vulture. "I am sure you know of my people. We hunt yours for fun but for once I am not here to kill you. I am here to propose something to you. I know that you know a man named Lokken. He had stopped my masters dark plans all to often and we wish him to be stopped. Now I will allow you to live and I will conveniently forget your existence as will my people if you corroperate" shaking her head she glared "I don't know where Lokken is sorry to disapoint you" his eyes seemed to bore right into her soul "WE know where he is, we want you to get into his confidence and lead him into our open arms. His death will be quick but it will happen with or without your help" Drusilla laughed, a bitter sound "Lokken wouldn't trust me if I begged him to. He trusts very few people and it would take years to earn his full trust, not to mention he would know if I lied to him AND even if I could do all you asked I wouldn't. I won't lower myself to your level" with that she spit at his feet. His red eyes flashed and he took a step forward but then looked up at the sky. "My master does not wish me to fight you. You are lucky, but this is not the end only a delay" with that he stepped into the shadows and disapeared.

"Oh damn! Not another firestorm!" he shouted, just as a flaming tornado touched down and the first meteors began to shoot through the clouds, mixing with the lightning.

Drusilla continued on her ride contemplating what to do about this Drake fellow. She had to tell Lokken, warn him somehow. She prayed he would listen. Closing her eyes she sent out her mind in search of Lokken's familiar life force. Something she had been able to do since the first time her and Lokken had made love. Searching and searching she faintly detected him but a storm of some sort was blocking her from communicating or finding his exact location but she did manage to find out which direction he was in. Before she could pull back the storm became worse and a lightning bolt of pain shot through her head yanking her mind back to her body. Crying out softly she gripped her head "damn storm" she muttered knowing this headache would last for a long while. Cursing under her breath Drusilla turned towards the direction Lokken was in and rode hard.

Ether lay on the ground, nearly dead, groaning in pain.

The firestorm had dropped ontop of him suddenly, and without warning. It was everything Ether could do to erect an Ice sphere to protect himself, but in his suprise and inexperience, the ice sphere could only hold out for so long. It shattered just as the tornado of fire span over him. In addition to that, the storm took an annoyingly long time to move on, and progress southward. Being of an ice elemental nature (Litterally, his father was an ice elemental) Ether is uncharacteristically weak to fire, so it's a miracle he's still alive. But how long would he hold out?

The firestorm finally ended, but instead of the clouds dissipating, a blizzard hit. Lokken made a sphere of pure fire around him and Thrinta and so they moved on, albeit slowly, through the ica and slush made left by their sphere. Ever south.

Finally after struggling through the blizzard she finally found sigh of Lokken. If was small but she sensed his presence. Now she turned her horse heading in the direction they had gone hoping to catch up with him soon. She had not seen him for so long, she doubted he would recognize her. She was worried that he wouldn't want to see her but no matter what she had to warn him.

Lokken's hourse backed up a step as the rock it stepped on moved.

ohohHOoooooooooo.... came a groun of pain. Melting away some snow revieled that it wasn't a rock, but a person. Horribly burned, he allready had blue skin. He was barely klinging to life when the hourse came along and made it worse. But he was still alive. Oh, what has Ether gotten himself into this time?

Lokken swung off his horse and moved up to the man(?). He helped the man up. "What are you doing out here? It's freezing", he spoke, thinking the blue skin was from laying in the snow and the burns from the firestorm.

all he could do was groan.

OOC; sorry, but I'm in no position or condition to manipulate the story any more than that

Drusilla was riding quietly when suddenly the wall in front of her exploded or rather it was hit my a fire ball. Pulling back on her horse Orin she calmed him with a single thought. Looking up she saw that it was Drake sitting atop his dark Drasion. Drasions were related to dragons but were much smaller and of much lesser power. They were the companions of Dark Riders. "Come fight me like a real man instead of standing atop your Drasion!" she called her eyes narrowing. "I think not, that was but a warning to catch the eye of a certain man not far from here. you know this man as Lokken. Our offer still stands, either way he will die. It is up to you if you wish to live or die with him. With that he took off before she could say another word.
