Anyone prepared to take on a loony Aussie? Be warned I use ENGLISH spelling and will not change!

More than anything I need a proofreader. None of the stuff I've submitted so far has been looked at by anyone other than me and occasionally my SO.

Links to my stuff in my sig if anyone wants to dip a toe and see if I suit.

ETA: This is a bit previous. I don't actually have a story needing attention right now. Just want to get myself organised for my next foray, after noticing errors AFTER my latest was submitted.

Editor available!

Hi starrkers, if you want I can proofread for you, just drop me a line and I'll get back to you ASAP.
The option is always open, after April 11th, anyway.

Sorry, Starrkers. You ain't no loony. I am a loony. You are just a loony wannabe. But keep at it. You'll qualify. That's why I love you

I stand (well, actually I'm sitting down) corrected.

Anyone wanna take on a wannabe loony Aussie? :D

Done a fair bit of proofing in the non-lit side... and had a Aussie that I imported to work with me for the last 6 years, so can deal with most of the lingo

I'm a Yank but am relatively familiar with Oz speak. Shared a five-person "bullpen" with two Aussies, a Brit and a Canuck for three years. So, I picked up a lot through osmosis. (Not using too many large words here, am I?)

So, if you've some tales of wayward Sheilas and such, good on ya. Send them to me to edit. I reckon since most of your audience here will be Yanks, I can help you translate Aussie to a form of English they'll comprehend. And, no, I won't modify your spelling unless it happens to be wrong in its English form as well.

PM me, if you're interested.

Thanks everyone. I think I've got someone (poor sucker!) to take on the task.

You are not limited to using just one editor. The convention here is that you can use as many editors as you like, provided you tell each of them that you are also using other offer(s) (without needing to give names). I wouldn't advise more than two or three, or you will learn just what Rudyard Kipling meant when he said:
There are nine and sixty ways
Of constructing tribal lays,
And every single one of them is right.
