check the site for their privacy policy. At worse the registration page should have some generic privacy statement built in about how the use personal information.

it was more fun to suggest closing the site down by other means, and then by pure coincedence (honest) one of the mods 'puters got very ill, i think it caught something from the 'net

This is Literotica, a forums full of cliques with some centered around the Mods (in a few forums). it's always been like this and sadly if you "offend" (and this can mean disagree) with one of the more clique'y mods you are screwed. It's the way it's always been and sadly it never changes each time I come back here.

But yes, I should be able to tell a Mod to "fuck right off", if they deserve it without being banned. A mods job is to keep order in a forum and not play god based on who they like or dislike. Nor if I threatened a Mod (or any member here) that is another story...but that is far from telling someone to "fuck right off"....
