That AV of yours.. is that you.. and is that a paintball gun?

Nope. Some Italian chick. I'm not that scrawny.

Nope. It's a .45 acp made by Tanfoglio. It's called a Lady Force. Tanfoglio has several polymer frames in a lot of different colors.

Some prefer to think of it as a water pistol, though.

:)

You know... I think if some woman where to whip out a pink .45 at the firing range. and just start firing like normal... Id be in lust.

I didn't think we could get one in this country cause of the plastic frame, but I have a dealer who says he can legally get me one. I'll be whipping out a pink .45 on the firing range eventually!

I've just got the usual kind of .45 these days. I have more fun plinking with a .22 rifle anymore.

Perhaps someday Desert Eagle and Ruger, or some after market manufacturer will come out with colored grips and stocks. Wouldn't that be cool? I'd get deep purple grips for my 45 Ruger and possibly something for my D.E. .(In case I would or could be talked into letting someone special shoot it.)

Desert eagle does have colored grips... I have silver/gray on mine.

*bats eyes* Have I told you how fabulous you are, curious? Can I shoot the D.E.?

Oh c'mon. I just ran out of feminine wiles, work with me here.

I love target shooting. It's so much fun. Even if it's made by tupperware.

D.E. has colored grips? Not in pink I think. Hmmm. poet coming out there a bit...

For you KM I'd let you shoot it any day. I would even provide all the ammo you wanted too. Just keep it aimed down range. I tend to get a bit nervous when a gun is pointed at me.:)

Not in pink no..
but you can get bluesteel, silver, black, brown, green

Don't worry about none, darlin. Killer refers to my tongue, not to my gun handling. I never point a weapon at people or critters.

K.M., I never thought you would and had a bit of the tongue in cheek as I said/wrote that. I was just reminded of a girl I let shoot it once at the range. Her handling was...well alot to be desired. I had to hold it for her and then...well it was interesting for sure. My oldest boy had quite a bit to say to me on the drive home that day. he figured that he neede to get a D.E. as quick as possible. I told him he would need to wait until he was 18. He is getting close to that age now.

I am sure that you can handle a handgun quite well. I just had thoughts of that particular lady and the circumstances of that day. You had no way of knowing, and I forget sometimes where I am when making some comments. Sorry. :)

No harm, not foul, curious. I detest people who can't think beyond the trigger.

I was asked this morning by a guy how come I was so good at hitting the target. I told him practice practice practice, and then I 'see' the bullet hitting the target, always, no matter what. Think it through that way and what follows is magic. It really does work. I never see the sights, I look for where the bullet is going to hit. I am usually on more than not. Yes, always concious of where that gun is aimed. always.

You both are gonna hate me... I don't aim.. I just point and shoot. I don't think about it at all.. and Im dead on almost every time.... with a pistol anyways

I couldnt shoot myself in the foot with a rifle.

Grandpa would give me two .22 bullets and an old single shot bolt action to wander the farm with. The second shell was in case I missed with the first one. When Grandpa passed away I was fortunate enough to get some of his guns. One of which is a Ruger 1022 rifle. (semi auto carbine) What shocked me were the two 50 round banana clips and high speed reloader. Was this the same man that gave me 2 rounds so many years before?

That gun is great for "plinking" cans and targets. Heavy for the size and perfectly balanced. Short barrel and few jams make it a joy to shoot.

Nope, don't hate you. I shoot that way. My uncle, who taught me most about shooting always referred to it as Zen shooting. A running joke with us. 'See the target, become one with the target, shoot the target, repeat." LOL It works btw. I never look at the gun, matter of fact if I do look at it I can't shoot well for the rest of the day. Ruins my concentration. i have shot against troopers, Navy shparshooters, and some real excellent civilian shooters. I do not compete and I am often asked to join a group or go out on a match, but I tend to enjoy shooting like I do it. Controlled shoots do not appeal to me at all. I am funny that way I guess. Don't need the praise or trophy, just the satisfaction of hitting what I aim at is enough for me.:)

The last time I got a sight picture on a pistol I shot the wall eight feet to the left of the target. I'm a point and shoot girl. The barrel is my index finger and the bullet goes where I point my finger.

I'm not sniper quality with a pistol, but I have a nice grouping and I hit what aim at.

Whoa! Had a feeling there for a moment. You have such a way of turning me on KM. Lucky that we are each married to our spouses. I could really fall for you in a big way. :rose:

i hate all the gun loving characters on this thread. all of you should be shot dead.
