Hello all - well the end of our quarter has passed so I have a LOT of more free time. I'm glad everyone is still very interested.

The ransom note was deliberately designed to be vague as to where it went, so Snork you picking up the ball and running with it works out very well thank you.

Well Greybread, after a long winded post that feels about as long as a flight from DC to Seattle - The F.B.I. have arrived, sans night baggage, hell I haven't even figured where my character will be dossing down yet LOL. But at least she has some pizza to eat

LOL... I have to admit, even in the initial stages of profiling my character - Skims through notes There was naturally 3 characters that sprang to mind. The obvious one was Dana Scully but I didn't like that over the top clinical approach that the X-Files put on the contrived cases. and 2 Claris'. She was a natural for this scenario; hell kidnapping, sex fiend, daughter of high profile VIP and the FBI, it could be silence of the lambs II couldn't it ?

In response to your quip, I was almost tempted to respond with
Well, mister Mitchell, how do you fancy cracking a bottle of Chianti thh, thhh, thhh, thhh, thhhhhhhh' but I thought better of it

So were are we at - it ok cause I can play out a day in year with my deadly verbose responses. BTW - if anyone has a problem with my fluff please say so I can cut it down, but I love story telling

I have to say where are the others, it's not important to me at this moment like I said cause I can talk the back legs off a donkey and keep Mitchell occuppied for plenty of posts. The lady of the house would be quite welcome at this stage. I guess the FBI can turn up some interesting details about ms Lay. and that will be interesting, keeping that from Mr Mitchell or perhaps there will be a tearful confession ? who knows.

Not much for me to play on right now, so if you want to go for the chit chat for a while feel free, I'llprobably go into retorical mode at some point.

I am also conscious of the fact that I don't want this thread to lose focus and to turn into an FBI case file thread, the action should surely be between all the players in an erotic theme not a sex crime investigation.

I don't tend to write in many threads anymore - partly due to commitments in RL and finding the right balance in writing partners also - gosh I'm so choosy <giggle>. No but seriously there are so many 1 on 1 threads and I think coming from a family where I had like 4 brothers and no Sisters I found myself playing and DMing a lot of AD&D.

I like the idea of multi player threads, side plots inside a main plot. When you have a good team it works really well and there's always plenty of opportunity to kick off a new idea if things stall, I also have a very dry sense of humor something I have nbeen honing with the aid of my very English husband who is absolutely deadpan - I can't tell when he's being serious or not - you got to love that British dry humor, so watch out for that.

I thank you guys for your compliments, that means a great deal to me.

w.r.t. to the plot and thread building - I can only add some suggestions I don't want to orchestrate anything.

It's not clear yet what the relationship between the kidnapper and the Jo or her Family is.

Perhaps that could be something to build on, a figure from the past, long past. Perhaps a disgruntled ex employee, or someone who missed the boat when the initial microsoft team kicked off. Bit of a Steve Jobs kindda guy who feels he's been screwed by Microsoft.

Or perhaps something from Jo's Mom's side. An ex porn star past his prime and not reduced to making money by extorting money from co stars he has tracked down.

Perhaps there are clues that can be found in old diaries or even old films LOL - Special Agent DeSouza has to spend 18 hours watching porn flicks of Mrs Mitchell whilst maintaining her cool professional FBI demeanour.

That's not forgetting the other cast members. Perhaps our Local Law Enforcer is in on the deal and he is out to thwart the FBI attempt.

Perhaps Mr Mitchell has instigated this himself having found out that Jo isn't really his natural daughter and secretly knowing of his wife past..

weekends are busy for me hard to post, so tried to catch up yesterday and maybe drag some others back into the thread. Brady is not in on the caper just too close to its participants for comfort. Like the rest of you I'm waiting for some action from our kidnapper. I'd send Brady after him myself but don't want to mess up the thread for the rest of you. Like sm. I'm about ready to send Brady to Rio, hear its nice down there this time of year. will wait around a bit more and see what happens.

Hey guys.. You know I really appreciated the brief opportunity to write with all of you. This was really my first serious thread for quite some time and I have to say it had really got my imagination rolling.

I was ware that the action was slipping from the cabin. I am very disappointed that Darren didn't supply more posts for you to work on DM, you literally had your hands tied and I was more dissapointed to see that he responded to numerous threads last night and left this one out, I guess that's is an indication of his interest in this particular thread.

Nooner, your post in the thread the other night really set me spinning, wondering how it would pan out, but actually it was kind of brilliant! So given that my character is now officially out of the way I'll outline what I thought might have happened.

Because Brady knows the kidnapper and even the location of the cabin - I saw this possibly as a lead in. After some initial pussy footing, Brady could come up with a 'lead' late at night and taken DeSouza out to the Cabin, this would have served 2 purposes

1 getting the FBI agent out of the way and protecting his own interests. Later having gone out to the woods, he and DeSouza become separated. DeSouza gets kidnapped too - abused sexually mentally and physically. She tries top help the 2 girls escape, the life expectancy of DeSouza at this point, actually at any point I see as being pretty short, but that I think is realistic in the nature of Brady's character and the interests he has to protect. Ultimately I saw Brady as being DeSouza's killer putting the blame on Rovan.

At the end of the thread I see Brady killing Rovan the 'FBI Agent Killer', rescuing the 2 girls, his reputation intact and a medal for bravery to cap it off.

How did that sound

Just a suggestion ... but if our kidnapper stays out of it, perhaps Brady can get to the cabin and have it out with Rovan ( Rovan being written in as and when) .... then maybe he can take over the operation and decide what to do with Jo ... even let the other girl go ( 'specially if she's gone AWOL too).

Not entirely credible but would allow us to continue.

Ohhh ... just one other thing occurs ... perhaps he can put a gun or something in Jo's way ... tempt her to defend herself ... she could shoot at him ... or injure him in some way ... but Brady could finish him off and tell Jo she had killed him ...

He could make her feel trapped ... blackmailed ... not sure how it would work ... but if she thought she'd killed Rovan ... and Brady told her he was a cop ... offered his "protection" or misfed her information etc etc ... perhaps it would make for an interesting scenario.

Anyhow ... just throwing stuff out here as it occurs ...

Could work ... maybe? ... or ... grrr ... LOL

lmao... with all the possibilities here. so many things a bad cop can do and maybe get by with. give me some time and I'll develop one or all of those carazy ideas. If you still want in sm: Brady could come on the scene now before you head back convince you that we could crack this case in a matter of hours, your flight out is in the morning anyway, a few hours to kill until then.
Dm: Your due to be untied soon if I can clear it with darrenfate. but only temprarily unless you cooperate with Brady, I will play it smooth though Brady's a redneck but he still has respect for respectable women.

I appreciated that each of you have limited posting time as do I myself. This thread was just too slow and the reality was that it wasn't the fault of any of the posters mentioned - I'm a kind of 1 post per thread per day person that works well for me too.

Does anyone here remember a teen movie called April Fool's Day - kind of a black comedy based on a mysterious murder - actually a murder mystery weekend. Would any of you guys be interested in a tread based on that - obviously with a little slap and tickle added in.

Another idea I had involved a newly wed couple moving into a old New England Amity style LOL house, lets say located on the massachusett coastline. The house is big and reputedly haunted.

It's haunted by a pair of sex starved spectres that enjoy tormenting the newly weds excercising their conjugal rites and often seducing them as invisible figures and also as physical manifestations.

I missed subscribing to this OOC thread so I missed all the chat going on here. Sorry.

But I've been watching the story thread and trying to figure out what to do with my character in the other room. So far no one's really played off of her, so I was trying to figure out if she could keep cussing and swearing in the other room! I'm still not sure...so I too wait. Though she's about to start kicking the hell out of the wall I think.
