My 7 year old daughter told my husband a couple of weeks ago, "DAA-AAAD! This bloussssse doesn't GO with my pants! And my boots will make my pantsssss TOO short!"
And THEN, she rolls her eyes(!) and says, "DUH! Boys don't know ANYthing about clothes!"
What is she, a 7 year old - going on 17 - fashion consultant?! God, I laughed til I cried at the look on his face... kind of that 'at a loss as to what to think because I'm a dumbass man who doesn't know anything about clothes, just like she said, and how can I avoid admitting that to her?!' *G*
(not that ALL men are like that.... but this one is, sigh)
But, of course, she also said, when asked if she'd like to go home with a lady from my brothers' church, "No, thank you kindly. I could NEVER replace MY mother!"
She's SO smart, lol.
