Has anyone here used the Kegel Master?I am thinking of getting the wife one.But I hate like hell to dish out the 98.00 for something that don't work.
Plus how do I do this without hurting her feelings. She has been through menopause and has lost some muscle control down there if you know what I mean. She has accidents occasionally and it is very embarrassing for her.Plus I have noticed she has a harder time reaching the big O.Supposedly from what I have read the Kegel Master will tone up the muscles and make it easier for her to cum and make her have more satisfying sex.Really would appreciate any advice anyone has.

In my opinion this is not something that she should be surprised with like a gift. I think the conversation about it and if she wants it should take place prior to you buying it. Obviously she knows she has lost muscle tone.. depite what you might think. Maybe leave a brouchure or print out out where she can't miss it or show it to her and not mention you would llike things tighter for your benefit but that it may help with accidents and her pleasure. Frankly people have been doing Kegals for years now without the "Kegal Master" so it may just be a gimmick.

If she's having trouble controlling her bladder perhaps a trip to the doctor is in order. I don't know how common it is, but women who have had a number of children can have that problem. I understand it can be corrected but sorry don't know the details.

As for surprising her with a gift....unannouced...uummmm nope. Don't do it man!

As always...and as suggested by boston_bbw...talk to her. If she agrees she wants to try something, here are my comments. Don't know about the Kegel Master...but a good start would be a number of times a day just having her tighten her muscles like she's trying to stop peeing...that helps strengthen her Kegels. Or buy some ben wall balls (ideally silicone, with the string between them covered in silicone too...for ease of cleaning and to prevent infection), have her insert them when she's home, when she's wearing panties (to prevent them from actually falling out if her muscle control is poor), and she'll have to use her muscles to keep them in. Ben wa balls are a heck of a lot less than $98.

Good point, and she can do it anywhere w/o the fear of a little ball slipping out of her panties :) When I lived in NYC, I would hold my kegals the length of the stop lights ... But to start off, squeeze the muscles for 10 solid seconds as hard as you can, then slowly let go of the hold for another 10. Repeat.

Ben Wa are generally $8-10 and worth the money. I have a pair. There is pleanty advice on the board on them, but generally work with one at a time, build yourself up to useing two, and let them drop in her hands before she pees, bc then if she has to hold onto the ball and pee at the same time - two things will happen.
The ball will fall into the toilet and she'll pee.
Or because she has to hold onto the ball, she wont be able to pee.

I've seen the bigger kegal toys and I sorta don't get them... I see that it would be easier to grip because it is larger, or heavier ... but you can only use it at home. Do they want you to be able to lift it and walk around all crab legged? Because the point of the 'toys' for muscle control is to be able to hold them to "lift" them. (maybe thats just my funny imagination working...hehe) Anyone actually own one of the larger ones and can tell us just what exactly the 'directions' are?

I didn't say that I'd get them for her for a gift.I was just wondering if anyone had experience with it or had some advice. She won't use the ben wa balls tried that already. Thanks

WW is right...she really needs to see a female urologist if she's having accidents. My mom suffered for years, did Kegels religiously, and got collagen injections to correct it when all that was needed was a fairly simple outpatient surgery procedure. Kegels are great and effective, but some research and a consult with a specialist is well worth it.
