My mom passed away from dementia and Alzheimer the ribbon and flowers are a symbol for them...I am going to fill the ribbon in with the actual handwriting of my mom from a card she left for me that says "Love Mom"

It had to be the worst couple of years in my mom's life..cant imagine how scary it must have been for her

My mother's mother died of it...and that scared my mom for years only for it to become her reality...my sister told me just recently she is starting to see signs of it with herself

I haven't lost a biological parent... BUT
I lost my step dad 8 years ago and my mother-in-law just over a year ago
nothing can prepare you...
