She says they think her gallbladder "has to go."

Lots of prayers, good thoughts, vibes, etc., for strength and health, please!

been there.

Nov of my senior year of high school I started having abdominal pain that was so bad some times I would spend the day in a ball on my bed crying.

By my birthday in March they decided to do a "squeeze test" on my gull bladder since the ultra sound came back fine twice. It didn't move the entire 2 hours.

In May they removed it, giving only a 75% chance that it would fix the problem, since they had no idea (and still don't) what happened to make it stop working in the first place.

Best of luck KC

Good thoughts to KC, and best wishes that it *is* her gall bladder and they fix it right the first time.:rose:

A silly ol' gall bladder versus KC? I gotta tell ya, the safe money is on KC. :rose:

Best wishes...I felt SO MUCH BETTER once they took that thing out!

Good vibes KC. I hope everything works out all right. Make sure to rest enough post-op.

Hope the surgery goes well!
you feel so much better once its gone! was up and out the next day :rose:

Well my gall bladder was inflamed and infected but the antibiotics worked so it gets to stay. The doctor says they see only "sludge" (blech) not stones in there right now.
I must say it was much fun to watch the tech take liquid outta a lead box and put it in my arm and be able to see my organs because of it and since i wasn't allowed to eat for three days i didnt have to complain about hospital food.
Unfortunately the scope found a nice sized ulcer in my stomach which is probably a result of taking very caustic meds for a while after i had a major run in with some sick blood.

So I see it as win all around
no diseases from the exposure
no surgery on my insides
i glow in the dark
they blew five veins that i told them not to use lol
the hole in my stomach should heal
and........
the GI doc was kinds cute and flirted with me even when i was looking like i died. Must have been how well i handled his scope or something. :D

Thank you Sir Winston for always managing to make me feel like I'm wonder woman and can survive anything even when I am sure I can't.
And thanks to everyone else for taking the time to think of me. I think "feeling the love" is a huge step to feeling all better
