kayte - I had a holiday picture of East Berlin removed; nobody has yet had the courtesy to explain why. That's the sort of thing that really p155es me off with Lit., which is why I very rarely post these days

thank you; it's the inconsistency and double standards (*) which irritate. But from you, there's always a personal message, which makes it so much nicer being here; explains EXACTLY why there's this "appreciation thread".

nothing special, ty; I'm no longer a regular church goer, so Easter is just another long weekend (Friday and Monday being public holidays here - with the added bonus for me that I only work Mon and Fri anyway, hahaha); basically it's little more than uploading my pics to flickr and planning my November holiday - Kuala Lumpur, (I've just got to go up the Petronas Towers as far as I can), Singapore, and Manila.

Anything special/different for you?

I went to church for Easter but otherwise there wasn't anything special for me either. It was still a good weekend though. I mean I at least finished my state taxes and filed the federal and state forms. :)

Have a great time planning your holiday and taking it too. Hope we get some pics when you get back. :D

always good to have time to relax and catch up - and have now caught up and indexed my pix from my 2006 trip (1200+ from my first and so far only to the US); 2007 and 2008 to start on.

I'll have plenty, I'm sure, and as they're ordinary boring old holiday snaps, they'll go to my flickr page.

Tax - thanks for reminding me: I'm now entitled to an extra allowance from the 6th April, worth about GBP50 per month seeing that I'll be 65 in the current tax year. All goes into the holiday fund, haha
