Actually, my heritage contains both. My immigrant family's husband was Scottish, his wife was Irish. I'm still working on tracing back.

BTW, I finally caught that your tributes on the bottom were links. I am stunned and so appreciative of the abilities and creativity of those who took the time to create such awesome reminders of the past and steps to take in the future. I never had the privilege of becoming a military member. I can't stop thanking those who did. Let's hope those who have served are never forgotten. The POW-MIAs especially.
