Does anyone know what the Karma indictor means?

I've also found it in the permissions section with a minimun Karma value for contributions.

I suspect it's similar to the "karma" rating on Slashdot and other cooperatively moderated news/discussion forums. It's a measure of reputation which rises as you contribute content which is rated highly, and (in some systems), declines if you don't participate for awhile.

The help files will tell us more, when they show up.

Thanks Zingiber

Sounds like a cool feature, if thats what it does. Kinda neat, I like it.

It also helps "speed up" some of the approvals of threads, from what I gather. You can set up to automatically approve threads submitted by writers with a Karma (or vote rating) of a certain level. That way, they don't have to wait for you to approve each thread one by one. Pretty cool feature, as long as they allow you to subsequently delete them, if you don't like them.

Anyone got any??

So has anyone seen their Karma rise above zero? I am feeling kind of left out as mine has not budged. I have no idea what would make it move.

Let me know.

Thanks.
