Why is it so hard to just not talk about fucking Hitler? It was 80 years ago. Other shit has happened.

I think it has something to do with: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Now of course we can’t “remember” every mistake of the past so as not to repeat them, but we should probably prioritize “remembering” a few major ones.

I vote for Hitler as one of those mistakes of the past to “remember.”

There are a few more major mistakes that come to mind, but let’s start with Hitler.
