Kansas teen perfect on SAT, ACT

Zeb, he took the test three times. I don't recall being given that option.

Anyone can take the tests over again. Thousands do it every year.

*sniff*
Now I know where the baby is I fathered back in college

Damn. Here I thought my 35 on the ACT was stellar -- and I only took it once. :D

Pfft. I had to take two nationwide tests to get into Uni as well. 100% on the first, 96.5% on the second. If I had had 3 shots at that second one, at least one of them would have been for 100 too, I'm sure. :catroar:

That's enough out of you Miss Big Brain. :p

I'm puzzled about that 2400 SAT score. Presumably that would mean that the English part was 1200 and the Math part was 1200. We didn't have such a thing when I was in high school but when I took the SAT's, around 1980 or 81, I had scores of 700 something on both parts, :D with a higher score in English. I was ranked in the 99th percentile, meaning that 99% of the test takers finished below me. I can't believe that the top 1% was spread out over a range of over 500 points.

That's the way it was when I took it in the 80's... I was in the 92%tile and I ain't that smart. I thought there were a bunch of dumbasses that year

I felt the same way. I'v always thought of myself as pretty bright but not in the top 1% of the population. Actually, it would be even better than that because that was supposedly only involving high school seniors who were going to college. I was more than twenty years out of high school.
